• Tribute to Garry Partington RIP

  • With deep sadness I learned of Garry’s passing.

This photo was taken in 1989 when Ceann Sibéal was developing from a NINE to EIGHTEEN-hole Golf course.

Garry was the trojan worker who always made things happen and Ceann Sibéal would never be where it is now without his unstinting service to it over many years – right up to a few weeks ago! A remarkable man, Garry (from Oldham, England) mastered the Irish language and loved it deeply. His work for Ceann Sibéal was singularly special and he contributed greatly to the fortunes of West Kerry, his adopted home, which he so deeply loved.
Thanks Garry for your great contribution to life in West Kerry. You will be sorely missed.
Sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his wife, Edel, and his daughters, Sarah and Amy, brother, and sister, Ken and Kay and his extended family.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé!
