Safety measures for playing golf

Book online before the day you want to play
Members must book a tee time in advance online via BRS or by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Steve will manage the timesheet on BRS. The timesheet records will be available to the HSE or Gardaí for contact tracing
During the current restrictions, members may not just drop in on spec.
Arriving at the Club
Arrive ready to play max 10 minutes before your tee time.
Check-in with the on-course Starter.
Park in the front car park. The back car park will be for pedestrian access and overflow parking only.
Changing rooms will be closed for the time being.
To allow for 2m social distancing, a one-way system will be in operation. Please follow the signs
Clean your hands at the new sanitation point at the entrance to the clubhouse.
Touchpoints in the Clubhouse, such as door handles, will be sanitised regularly throughout opening hours.
If you rent a buggy, you will be advised to sanitise it before and after use.
There will be no trolley hire in Phase 1
ON THE COURSEStarters and marshals
It is a condition of reopening, that strict time intervals between groups are maintained.
Golf ‘s Protocol, in Phase 2, has been relaxed slightly to permit clubs to include four-balls on their timesheets.
Format of play is casual golf, with gimmes encouraged inside 1m
Touchpoints such as divot bags and sandboxes, bins, benches, and bunker rakes have been removed.
Holes will be partially blocked and flags removed.
Your starter will brief you on pin positions before your round.
Bunkers will be out of play in Phase 1Replace your divots.
Repair pitch marks on the greens.
Pace of play
Play ready golf at a good pace. Keep in position, no calling through allowed.
Observe 2-metre social distancing at all times
Please respect 2m social distancing while playing, or you will be asked to leave the facility.
There will be no litter bins on the course, for the time being, please bring your rubbish home, and if you smoke, that includes your cigarette butts.
Go straight to your car when you are finished playing and leave.
